Water Supply Project
Chaupiloma, Ecuador
Chaupiloma is in the Pichincha Province of Ecuador. We’re working with the community to address their limited access to potable water.
The Ecuador team is planning a second assessment trip and first implementation trip for the fall of 2023.
The team will:
Improve the existing water source catchments through rehabilitation and maintenance;
Conduct water quality test to ensure their new treatment systems are meeting water quality standards;
Perform additional water flow tests and household pressure tests;
Map a potential pipe line

Assessment Trip (June 2022)
The Ecuador team completed the first assessment trip on June 5th, 2022. A team of six worked along side New Horizons and community members to:
Conduct household surveys
Meet with Community Leaders
Perform water flow tests and household pressure tests
Completed water quality tests throughout the existing system
