On May 3rd, 2008, more than 25 volunteers represented EWB Portland at a school painting work party at the Kelly Elementary School in Lents.  The event was part of a nation-wide effort sponsored by Comcast and a host of others.  Thousands of volunteers came out in Portland alone to complete a variety of projects from painting schools to sorting canned food.  EWB was proud to contribute to the effort!

 We have other local projects in the works, so check back for opportunites to represent EWB here in Portland.
