With more than 25 years experience as a senior staff engineer, senior project manager, and senior consultant and advisor for public utilities and private entities, Dr. Mohammadi has specialized in the planning, design, construction, and management of a wide array of complex civil and water resources infrastructure facilities.

Dr. Mohammadi is currently serving as the Energy, Power & Water Team Leader, and Senior Water Sector Advisor, with International Relief and Development (IRD), a Washington DC based firm working in Afghanistan.  He is currently providing assistance to a USAID funded Human Resources and Logistics (HRLS) program, aimed at the development and management of energy, power and water resources of Afghanistan.

Portland Chapter Meetings
The Portland Chapter of EWB-USA hosts monthly meetings that generally fall on the second Wednesday of the month. The agenda usually includes a pre-meeting presentation about EWB-USA and the Portland Chapter, updates on projects and fundraisers, and a presentation relevant to international development work.

Meetings are open to the public. Our chapter welcomes and encourages the involvement of people from all professional backgrounds.
